Lively Music and Dance and Gripping Theater Performed
at the Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts, October-December

- From salsa to historical drama to holiday classic at Long Island University -

Brooklyn, N.Y. – A spectacular array of shows, from thought-provoking drama to soaring dance and music performances, will take place at the Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus from October to December.

Thursday-Saturday, October 16-18, 7:30 p.m. - Balance Dance Theatre will present three exciting performances of work choreographed by founder and director, Obediah Wright. Tickets: $30; $20, students; $75 for Friday night performance and reception

Friday-Saturday, October 24-25, 7:30 p.m. – All Out Salsa and Afro Beat Music Festival. Friday night features Willie Villegas Y Entre Amigos, Yomo Toro and Conjunto Imagen. Monday, November 10, 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. - Asase Yaa African-American Dance Theatre presents Anansai the Spider and other African folk tales in dance and song. Tickets: $7

Monday, December 22, 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. - Heritage Op and Mama Akanke celebrates the seven principles of Kwanzaa. Tickets: $7
