Freshman Food Drive at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus
Thursday, July 16, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

- 100 students dressed in lime green T-shirts to collect food -

WHO: 100 freshmen from Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (a New York State-funded program) in service activity

“Given the downturn in the economy, food banks need more food and students want to give back,” said Diana Voelker, co-director of the Campus’s Arthur O. Eve HEOP.
WHAT: Food Drive. Students wearing lime green T-shirts will line up around the outside of the Campus to collect non-perishable food.
WHEN: Thursday, July 16
