Eclectic Evening of Modern Dance
at Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts
at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus, October 16

Dance FacultyBrooklyn, N.Y. - The Dance Department at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus will showcase the spectacular talents of its faculty members at a dance concert at the Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts.

The department’s faculty concert will take place on Friday, October 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the Kumble Theater, located at the University’s Brooklyn Campus in downtown Brooklyn, on the corner of Dekalb and Flatbush avenues. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors and students with ID.

The Brooklyn Campus dance faculty will present an eclectic evening of contemporary dance and performance art. Choreographers and performers include Dana Hash-Campbell (former principal dancer with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and chair of the Campus Dance Department), Rodger Belman (former dancer with Laura Dean Dancers and Musicians and independent choreographer), Alenka Cizmesija (principal dancer with Diversity of Dance and independent choreographer), Maré Hieronimus (dancer with Naomi LaFrance and independent choreographer), Whitney Hunter (former dancer with Martha Graham Dance Company and artisic director, Hunter Performance Group), Rosalynde LeBlanc (former member of Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company), Earl Mosley (artistic director, Diversity of Dance), and Mary Ann Wall (artistic director, RedWall Dance Theatre).
